About this list

Children can start chess young here. El Caballito de Palermo begins with pre-chess from four years old and runs workshops for ages six to twelve and thirteen to seventeen from March to December, the Club Argentino de Ajedrez in Recoleta teaches ages six to twelve, and the Villa del Parque club holds beginner and intermediate children's groups on Saturday afternoons at the Centro Cívico Caracas.

In the conurbano, the municipal school in Villa Martelli runs children's initial-level classes every weekday afternoon free of charge, Quilmes teaches from age five at a primary school, San Isidro groups its pupils by age, and Tigre opens its municipal workshops to all ages. Lanús and Chacarita Juniors give children's classes at their clubs, and Peón al Paso in Palermo Hollywood teaches children both in person and online.
