About this list

Children are a large part of club chess in Buenos Aires, and on each of these entries a page says so. The Club Argentino de Ajedrez gives classes for ages six to twelve, the Villa del Parque club has beginner and intermediate children's groups on Saturday afternoons, and Mariano Moreno in Coghlan sent its pupils to the national school chess Olympiad in July 2026. Ajedrez Martelli in Villa Martelli lists classes for children as well.

Among the sports clubs, Lanús runs a Monday class for children at its social seat for a monthly fee, and Chacarita Juniors teaches an initial level on Saturday mornings for members. ATSA Buenos Aires gives free online classes to the children of union members, and pages on the círculos of Villa Ballester, Berazategui and Adrogué and on Peón Libre in Luis Guillón mention young players as well. Ages and fees, where printed, are on each entry.
