Chess in Buenos Aires

Propose a club or correct an entry

Use this form for a chess club, a regular tournament, a class or a café chess afternoon in Buenos Aires or the partidos around it that the guide lacks, or for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Players, parents, coaches, organisers and venue staff are all welcome to write, in Spanish or in English.

The most useful thing to add is a link: a club circular, a tournament page, a federation notice, a dated post. Notes are read together at the next revision and checked against that page, and each resulting change is dated in guide updates.

What would you like to send?
For a new place: the kind of chess, the day and the address. For a mistake: the line of the entry that is wrong.
Link to a web page, a tournament page or a post where it can be seen.
Only so that the note has a sender; it never appears on the site.
Phone or a messaging account, in case you would rather not share an email.

Leave at least one way to reach you. It stays private and is only used if the note raises a question.

What happens to the contents of this form is explained in the privacy notice.

After you send it

  • Your note is kept with the rest until the guide's next revision.
  • Then it is checked against what the club or organiser publishes; if their pages agree, the entry changes and the date is logged in guide updates.
  • If no page backs it up, the entry is left unchanged, unconfirmed wording included.
  • You hear back only if you asked for an answer and left a contact.
